Nesting - Red-Tailed Hawks : I am photographed a pair of Red-Tailed Hawks last spring. I watched them all year soaring over the lake. They mated and started sitting on the nest in March. I took my first trip to the nest on April 1, 2008. One chick was hatched. I took almost 4000 shots of the nesting, Mom, Dad and Baby and never disturbed them. The baby left the nest for good in late June. It was an incredible experience to watch the little one grow to such a beautiful raptor.

Eagles-1 : Eagles are awesome. A lot of these photos were taken from very long distances. Most of the tree shots were taken from the west side of Lynx Lake shoreline. The water shots were taken at Willow Lake.

Osprey-Goin Fishin : Make sure you look at the last picture in this gallery. It is the best shot I have ever taken. The Bass this Osprey caught was so big he almost couldn't take off out of the water. It was amazing to watch.

Mr Squirrel : Check out my buddy Mr. Squirrel. Each photo will gets closer and closer. The first one is zoomed all the way out. The last he is right up against my lens.. you can count every whisker. I saw him about 75 feet away and chirped at him. It took me about 30 minutes but every time I made a chirping noise he came closer and closer. Finally when he was about 4 feet away I couldn't get him in my lens any more.. he was to close. This was way out in the woods, not even close to any houses so I am sure he wasn't used to people.. just very friendly. I finally had to stand up cause I thought in another couple of minutes he would be in my lap. Zoom in on the last pictures squirrel and you will realize just how close I got to him (or him to me).
